Keeping your hair healthy and beautiful takes a lot of efforts and be costly. But this does not mean that you must use only expensive professional product. Use natural ingredients at home! Everything is quite simple here - the beauty secret is in the olive oil hair masks.
Olive oil is an excellent emollient that leaves hair silky smooth, improving elasticity and strength. It also improves the quality of dull locks, leaving them shiny and healthy.
It is considered one of the best masks for dry and damaged hair. Avocado is rich in oleic acid, omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and vitamins A, B and E. A mask from these ingredients will make hair shiny, soft, and manageable.
Ingredients:
1/2 ripe avocado
2 tablespoons of olive oil
How to apply:
Mash the pulp of half an avocado until a paste-like consistency.
Add two tablespoons of olive oil to the avocado.
Mix the ingredients until smooth.
Shampoo your hair first. Apply the mask to slightly damp strands, concentrating on the roots and spreading the mixture over the entire length.
Cover your curls with a shower cap and wrap with a towel.
Leave the mask on for 45-60 minutes and then wash off with a shampoo and a conditioner.
Let your hair dry naturally or use a hair dryer with a cold air setting.
If your hair is not too damaged or dry, then this mask should only be applied once or twice a month.
Eggs are rich in protein and nutrients that improve the health of the hair. The yolks nourish and repair dry and damaged hair. Egg whites contain enzymes that remove excess oil from the scalp.
Ingredients:
2 egg yolks (for dry hair) / 2 egg whites (for oily hair) / 1 egg (for normal or combination hair)
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Comb with wide teeth
How to apply:
Depending on your hair type, choose the correct egg parts to use from the list above.
Whisk an egg (white or yolk) and olive oil in a bowl until the mixture is creamy in texture.
Shampoo your hair first. Divide wet strands with a wide toothed comb and apply the mixture.
Cover all the hair with the mixture, concentrating on the ends.
Curl your hair into a bun and leave for 20 minutes.
Rinse off the mask with shampoo and cold water (hot water can curdle eggs and it will be difficult to wash them out of your hair).
It is advisable not to dry your hair with a hairdryer so that moisture does not evaporate from the hair.
You can use the mask twice a week regardless of hair type.
